Intensive Family Preservation Program

Intensive Family Preservation Program is a voluntary case management program that provides outreach wrap-around services to increase safety for children in the family home.

What does this program offer?

We believe that living with family should be safe for all children. Families in this program are visited several times each week, over a twelve week period. Our work with families is evidence-based and trauma-informed, and it is aimed towards increasing safety for children in the family home and supporting increased parenting capacity.

Who can access this program?

Families in the statutory Child Safety System can be referred into the program.

This service is available in the South of Tasmania. Referrals are made through Child Safety Officers.
